Foot Reflexology

Start at the feet

A hot herbal soak, then thirty to ninety minutes of pressure-point work in a warm recliner. Shoes off, phone away.

The Tradition

The oldest shortcut to feeling human again

Reflexology maps the whole body onto the soles of the feet. Firm, rhythmic thumb pressure over those zones settles the nervous system faster than almost anything else we offer.

Sessions begin with a ten-minute soak in hot water infused with mugwort, ginger and epsom salt — the same herbs used in Chinese foot therapy for centuries. Your therapist then works through the arches, heels, toes and ankles, finishing with calf and lower-leg work.

You stay fully clothed apart from shoes and socks, in a heated recliner with a blanket. It is the treatment we recommend for anyone nervous about a first massage, and the one our regulars book between deeper sessions.

All sessions include the herbal foot soak unless noted. Available in the shared lounge or, on request, in a private room.

Who Books It

Especially good for

Hikers & Runners

Kaaterskill Falls and the Escarpment Trail are unkind to plantar fascia. An hour here does more than an evening on the couch.

People on Their Feet All Day

Nurses, servers, contractors, teachers — the professions that fill our Sunday afternoon lounge.

Restless Sleepers

Evening sessions are our most popular slot for a reason. Book after 7pm and drive home already halfway asleep.

First-Time Spa Guests

Clothed, unintimidating and short enough to try without commitment — the easiest way to see whether bodywork is for you.

Pair It Up

Reflexology plus the bathhouse

A sixty-minute reflexology session followed by the sauna and hot tub is the quietest two hours in Greene County. Add the bathhouse to any treatment for $40.
